Dr. Ari Jutkowitz is a board certified critical care specialist with over 20 years of clinical and research experience in veterinary hematology and transfusion medicine. He is currently on the faculty at Michigan State University as an Associate Professor of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. He is the recipient of several SCAVMA teaching awards and the Carl J. Norden-Pfizer Distinguished Teacher Award. He has authored numerous research articles and book chapters on the topics of immune-mediated hemolytic anemia, immune-mediated thrombocytopenia, precursor-targeted immune-mediated anemia, and blood transfusion.
